The company originates from the need of a small historical Florence manufactory to set themselves up as an innovative company at international level, their strength being their long tradition and expertise in Italian designs and materials.
The passion for Italian crafted products led the Altavilla family, distribution technologies and marketing experts, to become part and major actor of the transition from a locally based business to an internationally recognized brand.
During the years we have searched for the excellence of Tuscan manufacturers in a view of quality and sustainability of the project in order to offer the opportunity to share this idea which was starting to have results.
TUSCANY LEATHER is part of the consortium " Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale " that guarantees the origin and quality of the materials used ensuring a low impact on the environment.
In 2008 we have achieved another important goal with the opening of the new logistic and operational center in Pisa. Here, thanks to the new Commercial and Directional Team, we are able to interact with all our global partners and to maintain business relationships with our stakeholders.
In 2009 the company has been awarded the "Premio Luigi Colombani" by the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa for having contributed to increase the passion for Tuscan craftsmanship in the world.
During the years the brand has increased its popularity thanks to the ethic values that have always distinguished us; today the brand has high standards of quality both in the product and in services.
Our commitment to R&D is confirmed by the allocation of funds for new premises to be opened in 2013 that will be totally devoted to product and services development.
